HOPE FOR LOS ANGELES
Hope for Spirituality
Acts 17:16-34
Only an unadjustable God who saves us by grace can satisfy the spiritual longing of our souls.
Despite what many think, Los Angeles is a very spiritual city. While many do not consider themselves religious, most pursue spirituality in various ways. In Acts 17, Paul explores Athens, another very spiritual city. Instead of presenting Christianity as one spiritual option among many, he shows that their approach to spirituality cannot satisfy them. Only an unadjustable God who saves us by grace can satisfy the spiritual longing of our souls.

Wisdom for West LA: Singleness & Dating
Saturday, May 18th, 8:30am-4:30pm
Few things in our city are as complicated, significant, and sensitive as singleness and dating. But Christianity provides a rich vision for singleness and supplies the resources necessary to experience it ourselves. It also provides clarity and wisdom for dating that apply even in the brave new world of 2024. This full-day conference, designed for our whole church family, will explore all of the above and leave us better equipped to live wisely in West LA. Registration is now open, and childcare is available.
Spring Book Discussion: Surprised by Doubt
Sunday, May 19th, 1-2:30pm, Welcome Center
Even those who live by faith sometimes doubt. Those doubts don’t have to mean the end of Christian identity. In this thought-provoking book, Joshua D. Chatraw and Jack Carson help readers rediscover a deeper faith in the midst of a confusing world. They invite skeptics and doubters to explore the ancient faith for a new perspective on contemporary Christianity. Join us as we read and then meet to discuss it!
