About Us

Since 2018, Royal Family Kids Camp West Los Angeles has been partnering with Cornerstone Church of West Los Angeles to create a week of joy, love, and unforgettable memories for children in the foster care system. Many of these kids have faced unimaginable challenges—neglect, abuse, and the heartbreak of being separated from their families. Our mission is simple: to give them a place where they feel safe, celebrated, and deeply loved, while sharing the hope and healing found in God’s care.
The moment campers step off the bus, they’re met with cheers, high-fives, and a red carpet welcome. Every day is packed with activities that let kids laugh, explore, and simply be kids—games, drama skits, arts and crafts, pool time, and so much more!

We keep a 2:1 camper-to-counselor ratio, so every child has someone in their corner, cheering them on. Our team of volunteers is trained to meet each camper where they are, with patience and compassion.  RFK West LA Camp is entirely supported by our generous donors which allows us to offer the camp experience at no cost to the families of the campers that attend - yes, that means it's free!

At Royal Family Kids’ Camp West Los Angeles, we’re more than just a camp—we’re a family. For one incredible week, we get to remind these amazing kids that they are special, seen, and deeply loved. It’s not just about the fun (although there’s plenty of that!)—it’s about giving them hope, confidence, and memories they’ll carry with them after they leave.

Meet the leadership team.

Leslie Kosier

Director
Leslie first began volunteering with Royal Family Kids Camp as a college student in 2011. That first summer at camp, her heart for the children grew and she felt God’s call to continue mentoring and serving the foster community.  Through her many years serving with RFK’s mentorship program, she became more and more aware of the vast need for resources and care to be given to the foster system in Los Angeles. This lead Leslie to eventually launch RFK West LA as a new chapter in 2018.
God has continued to bless that ministry as we now enter into our 5th camp year!

Mariana Da Silva

Director
Mariana is originally from Brazil and grew up as a missionary and pastor’s kid before moving to the U.S. in 2015. After college Mariana and her husband moved to Los Angeles in 2019 and found their home at Cornerstone Church. Mariana volunteered as a counselor starting in 2019 and felt called to now serve as Co-Director of Royal Family Kids Camp West Los Angeles. With a deep passion for mission work, Mariana finds joy in serving through storytelling, kids' ministries, art, and planning, and is excited to witness how God is working through the camp.
