THE GOSPEL OF LUKE:
GOD'S INVITATION
Luke 14:1-24
Jesus has invited you. but he won’t force you.
Who is the kingdom of God for? What kind of people are a part of his kingdom? Jesus uses an exclusive dinner party as an occasion to confront people's assumptions about God and his kingdom. And as he does he confronts many of our assumptions as well.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. What types of position or status are you tempted to pursue?
2. How have you seen those pursuits leave you spiritually bloated?
3. What would humbling yourself entail in those areas?
4. In what ways do you feel excluded?
5. What distracts you from accepting Jesus' invitation or living in light of your identity in his kingdom?

Often our financial situations make even surviving the city difficult, let alone giving! Whether you are thriving or struggling financially, join us for this seminar where we will learn both practical and biblically based ways to navigate money as a Christian, and move toward becoming a cheerful giver.

Cornerstone will be hosting Christian Legal Aid who provide free legal clinics. This is an organization who believes in providing access to basic legal services is a powerful way to love our neighbors.
1. If you or anyone you know is in a situation where they need but can't afford legal aid, please have them register for the free clinic here.
2. If you're interested in volunteering, you can learn more and register on the website, but it's recommended that attorneys who are interested in volunteering reach out directly to Ellen via email, call, or text at ellen@cla-la.org or (714) 366-0635.
