Luke 11:1-13
Persistent prayer unleashes the very power of God.
It can be easy to think of God like a genie or a butler when it comes to prayer. But the Lord's Prayer shows us the true purpose and power of approaching the throne: getting more of God.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. In what ways might your prayer life be disordered? How can the Lord's Prayer reorient your approach?
2. Are you worried about bothering God with your prayers?
3. How does the promise of the giving of the Holy Spirit change the way you pray?

Starting Sunday, April 12th, 6-8pm
Exploring Christianity is a series of weekly dinners (April 12th, 19th, 26th & May 3rd) where people of all backgrounds can gather to enjoy free food, meet new friends, and have meaningful conversations about faith. We'll gather on Sunday evenings from 6-8pm starting April 12th and continue for four weeks. Each week we will explore a main pillar of the Christian faith. We encourage church members to invite friends and join as well. If you’re exploring for the first time, rethinking, or are just plain curious, Exploring Christianity is for you.
