THE GOSPEL OF LUKE:
FEAR NOT
Luke 12:22-34
The knowledge we need to combat anxiety is not the knowledge of facts, but knowledge of a person.
We live lives filled with anxiety. The question isn't: how do we not experience fear? The question is: where do we turn when we're afraid? Jesus gently reminds us of who he is and the fullness of his love so that we can learn to trust him in every situation - even the scariest.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. What form has anxiety over provision, security, and the future taken most recently in your life?
2. How do you normally combat or deal with those worries?
3. What aspects of nature most regularly remind you of God's faithfulness, character, and love?
4. How would your week look different if you were seeking his kingdom, and not your own, first?
5. How do the eternal promises of God fuel your life lived for his glory and not your own?

Weekly Announcements
Two-Service Summers
June 21st - August 16th
With many of our college students away for the summer, attendance at our 8:00am service becomes much lighter. To help reduce the volunteer needs during this season, we'll be moving to a two-service schedule for the summer and returning to three services in August. Our last 8:00am service will be next Sunday. We look forward to worshiping together this summer at 9:45am and 11:30am!
Summer Seminar: Combating Loneliness in the City (Joon Kang)
June 14th, 1:30pm - 3:00pm, Leonard Chapel
We all long to be fully known and fully loved, yet many of us experience seasons of loneliness, even in a city as large as Los Angeles. This seminar will explore what the Bible says about loneliness and offer practical encouragement for pursuing meaningful connection. We hope you'll join us!

Book Discussion: "The Gospel of Caiaphas" (Nicole Austin)
June 28th, 1:30pm - 3:00pm, Welcome Center
Join us for a discussion of “The Gospel of Caiaphas” by Nicole Austin. This novel reimagines the story of Jesus through the eyes of the high priest Caiaphas, offering a compelling glimpse into first-century Jerusalem while remaining grounded in the biblical narrative. Registration is open, and the book is available on Amazon and at local bookstores.
Get Involved with Cornerstone Kids Camp!
June 22nd - 26th
We have one final invitation for Cornerstone Kids Camp. We're still looking for a few adult volunteers to serve during camp, which runs Monday through Friday in the mornings only. If you have a flexible schedule, we'd love to have you join us!
It's a unique opportunity to share the love of Christ with children from our city and be part of a fun and impactful week! If you're interested, please talk to a pastor or Jeremy at the kids check-in table after service.
