Luke 16:1-13
Where are we investing our resources?
Jesus makes it clear that following him will impact your whole life, including how you handle your money. Using a story about a dishonest manager shrewdly investing in his own future, he teaches his disciples to think about how they use their money in light of eternity. We find a way of relating to the resources in our lives that is unique and radical: we view ourselves as stewards, not owner; we invest in eternity, not just this life; and we use money instead of worshiping it.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. Do you view yourself as a manager of God's resources, or as an owner? How does that manifest itself in your life?
2. How often is eternity a part of your thought process when it comes to money? Why do you think that is?
3. Why does Jesus connect money and worship? How have you seen that in your own life?
4. How does grace and the gospel release you from the hold money and resources have on you? How can you apply that this week?

Be encouraged as we learn, reflect, and discover practical ways to strengthen our prayer lives. Come and be refreshed as we grow in faith and deepen our relationship with God.
Save the Date: Life Group Kick-Off
August 23rd, 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Green Space
Life Group is our ministry for middle and high school students, a space to build community with peers and leaders while growing in faith together. And yes, there's plenty of fun too! Come and join us for food, music, games, and community. Inviting friends is welcomed and encouraged (no RSVP or registration needed)!

As we head into the fall, we're excited to welcome many new and returning people to Cornerstone! Beginning August 23rd, we'll return to three services: 8:00am, 9:45am, and 11:30am.
We invite you to consider attending the 8:00am or 11:30am service if you're able to help make room at 9:45am for newcomers. If you've been thinking about serving, this is a great time to jump in and help us welcome others as Christ has welcomed us.
