His kingdom come, His will be done
The third line of the Lord's Prayer invites God to have his way in our lives and our world. For many of us this runs against the grain—we want more control over our lives, not less. But when we understand God as our Father in Heaven, and see his son Jesus Christ pray this same prayer in Gethsemane, we find ourselves desiring God's kingdom and will from the heart.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. What do you find desirable about God's kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven"?
2. How do you find yourself resisting God's kingdom and will in your own life?
3. What about the gospel can lead your heart to sincerely desire God's will above your own?
4. What would it look like to pray "Your kingdom come, Your will be done" in your life today?

Cornerstone Men’s Retreat
May 15th-17th, Angeles Crest Christian Camp
Men 18+, join us from Friday, May 15th through Sunday, May 17th at the Cornerstone Men’s Retreat at Angeles Crest Christian Camp, located in the scenic Angeles National Forest! We’ll get away from the city to spend time together, hear from God’s Word, and reconnect as the men of the church. You’ll come back refreshed and ready for life in West Los Angeles with your church family. Registration is open, and will be available until April 23rd. Payment ($227 per person) is due upon registration. Note: if you are interested in attending but cost is an issue, please let any of our pastors or staff know. Cornerstone members/regular attenders can register here. CKC is also intended to be a fantastic outreach opportunity. To extend the invitation to friends, neighbors, and families, please share this guest registration link. Also, we can’t do this without your help! If you'd like to volunteer to help out during the week, please register here. We look forward to an exciting week praising God and learning together with friends about Jesus! Royal Family Kids Camp
August 2nd - 7th
Join us in creating a life-changing and impactful week for foster children in the city of Los Angeles. As a volunteer, you'll help provide a safe and memorable experience for campers through fun activities, relationships, mentorship and a love for Christ. No special skills needed – just a willing heart to serve. Applications are open until the end of May!
If you are unable to come out for a week-long overnight camp, we invite you to partner with us financially to make camp happen free of cost for campers and volunteers. Donate here!
