REPENTANCE
Luke 13:1-17
The entire Christian life is one of repentance
Repentance is at the heart of following Jesus, but it's very easy to forget. In this passage, Jesus hears of a nearby tragedy and insists that his hearers take it as an opportunity to repent themselves. In his comments, and in the following parable and miraculous healing, he shows us our need for continual repentance and gives us the tools to pursue it ourselves.
APPLICATION QUESTIONS
1. Is repentance a regular part of your life? Why or why not?
2. How can you pursue wholistic repentance in your daily life?
3. Is God's grace a motivating factor for your repentance? Why or why not?
4. Is there something God is asking you to repent of today? What is holding you back from doing so?

In sharing the gospel we sow seeds and God takes care of the growth: but is that all there is to it? If you want to grow in evangelism this is the seminar for you! You can expect to hear about God’s heart for the lost, relatable and relevant evangelistic stories, and practical how-to’s for initiating gospel conversations without being that weird person at work!

Christian Legal Aid - Los Angeles
Saturday, July 18th at 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Cornerstone used to host CLA-LA who provide free legal clinics for many years on our campus before the pandemic. Then a lot of the clinics moved online for easier access. But in-person clinics are making a comeback and we're so happy to be a host site again! CLA is needing help to spread the word about the free clinic, for day-of volunteers, and especially for volunteer lawyers.
1. If you or anyone you know is in a situation where they need but can't afford legal aid, please have them register for the free clinic here.
2. If you're interested in volunteering, you can learn more and register on the website, but it's recommended that attorneys who are interested in volunteering reach out directly to Ellen via email, call, or text at ellen@cla-la.org or (714) 366-0635.
