“We need a refuge that can’t be shaken, and in Jesus’ resurrection, we have one”

April 4, 2021

When Peter gives his first sermon on the resurrection, he quotes Psalm 16, where David looks to God for a refuge that can’t be shaken. Jesus’ resurrection gives us a security that we can’t find anywhere else—one that lasts into eternity.

Application Questions

  1. What are some ways you experience a need for security in your life?
  2. What are you tempted to “run to” to find that security?
  3. How does the reality of Jesus’ resurrection give you real security in an insecure world?
