“Salvation isn't a trophy to be put on a shelf, but a gift from a good Father who rejoices when we enjoy His good gift.”

Paul connects what we are to believe (the gospel of Jesus Christ) with how we are to live. When we truly believe the gospel, receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and accept the Word of salvation as our own, our lives are transformed. We live out that salvation in all areas of our lives, and we grow in our faith in God and love for Him.
