Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We'd love to show you how your story matters to him, and how his story matters for you.
The church isn't an organization or a building. The church is a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children because of Jesus.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Last week we learned about the work of the Holy Spirit in our transformation and heart work, and this week we look at the role of our own effort in transformation. The Bible makes it clear that we are called to actively participate in the work of the Spirit in our lives. We are not to be passive, but to be willfully engaged, choosing to obey Christ. This choosing is not to earn God’s favor, but in response to the glorious grace of Jesus Christ.
1. Do you expect the Christian life to be one of effortless ease, dutiful effort, or Spirit-empowered effort?
2. What is the difference between your desires and your will?
3. How is your will like a muscle? How is this significant for your walk with Christ?
4. What are the areas of your Christian life that you need to employ more Spirit-empowered effort?
