Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We'd love to show you how your story matters to him, and how his story matters for you.
The church isn't an organization or a building. The church is a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children because of Jesus.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
“When you experience the love of God it explodes out from you to those around you, not just in word, but in action.”
“You are not ultimately responsible for changing the hearts of people you minister to. The only hope we have of change is the Spirit of God working in us and others.”
“Jesus brings you a pathway from failure to joy.”
“To say that God calls each of us to personal ministry is to say that God calls each of us to lovingly know, lovingly serve, lovingly speak to, and lovingly gospel the people God has placed in our lives. As we do, we are obeying his call to make disciples.”
“Disciples are not just followers but friends.”
As a follow-up to the introductory class How People Change, this class is designed to help give you a framework for how you can best help others through the change process. This class is meant to provide you with a principle-based framework of how discipleship counseling and inter-personal ministry ought to take place.
“At their core, these are all just different angles of the personal ministry we are all called to.”
The more voices we are hearing, the harder it is to tune into the one voice that actually matters.
“Our purpose is to follow him, becoming like him, knowing how good he is.”
“This is the context where life-on-life relationships take place, where the ‘one-anothers’ of Scripture are lived out, and where Christian community happens.”
