Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We'd love to show you how your story matters to him, and how his story matters for you.
The church isn't an organization or a building. The church is a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children because of Jesus.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
In addition to our foundational classes, we also offer equipping in a more hands-on, practical setting through our cohorts. Our cohorts typically last 3-4 months at a time and are offered in either the Fall or Spring. Cohorts consist of a group of 10-20 Cornerstone members who commit to a program of reading, practical ministry experience, written assignments, and group discussions for the purpose of growing in a particular area of ministry.
We offer cohorts in areas of ministry such as:
-Community Group Leading
-Preparation for Pastoral Ministry
-Corporate Worship Leading
-Local Outreach and Evangelism
For those who are interested in learning to help care for others and to be better equipped in counseling and discipleship, we offer cohort that involves reading, Scripture meditation, practical ministry experience, observation, and group discussion. For those who would like to become certified biblical counselors, an internship can be added to the cohort in order to pursue certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.

This cohort is designed for current community group leaders or those who are going to be leading community groups in the future. We will be discussing the purpose of community groups, what discipleship looks like in the context of community groups, how community groups can live on mission together, and how to resolve logistical issues that arise when leading.
