Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We are a people who have been transformed by the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has forgiven us and adopted us into his family. Now, we have a whole new life.
Through the gospel, God redeems us, forgives us, and adopts us into his family. The good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection makes each one of us a new creation and gives us a new identity: children of God. This is why we can never think of the church as an organization or a building. The church is actually a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children.
Through the gospel, God forgives us, adopts us into his family, and makes us his disciples. This means that the church is not just any family. We are a family formed by God—and sent out with a purpose.
The church is a family that ministers to one another, cares for one another, and builds one another up. Each member of the family is a child of God who is uniquely gifted to bless the family and to be a light in our city.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
We want the whole family to learn from scripture, so we provide a place for everyone during Cornerstone Sunday Equipping:
Equipping classes are a great place for adults and high school students to learn more about who God is, what he has done for us, and how we can follow him in West LA.
Fusion is a group of vibrant 3rd–6th graders who are asking The Big Questions. We focus on God as we play games, sing songs, pray for one another, and find answers in God’s Word together.
Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His word.
We have wonderful volunteers in safe, fun nursery rooms for children who are too young for Awana. It’s a joy to care for toddlers and infants while their parents take classes.
We check in our children to ensure their safety and give parents peace of mind. At Cornerstone, our check in system lets you know that your children are in a safe and nurturing environment.
See a map of our campus below to find your room(s). If you are dropping off students for AWANA, you can check them in at a special table outside the AWANA rooms.
