Cornerstone exists because of Jesus. We'd love to show you how your story matters to him, and how his story matters for you.
The church isn't an organization or a building. The church is a family—God’s family, filled with redeemed sinners that are now his children because of Jesus.
Just like a vine grows best with a good trellis, our church family grows best with good programs. Our programs and ministries are tailored to support the community and mission God has given us.
1609 S. Barrington Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90025 Every Sunday morning you will find us gathered to worship God in prayer, song, and learning from the Bible. Our services are an encouraging place for Christians to worship and a safe place for visitors to explore. No matter where you’re coming from, we hope you’ll join us.
While the church address is on Barrington Ave, our parking lot and main entrances are located on Idaho Ave (see map to the left). There is also plenty of street parking available Sundays on Idaho Ave, Stoner Ave, and Iowa Ave.
Handicap parking spaces are available close to the Sanctuary entrance.
Whether you feel God is honored more by jeans and sandals or by a suit and tie, everyone is welcome at Cornerstone.
Our parking lot is right next to our courtyard, where you’ll find the main entrances to our sanctuary, our community building, and our coffee shop. Feel free to come early or stay late, we have plenty of food and drink in the coffee shop and plenty of good conversation in the courtyard.
From the courtyard, you can take your children to the nursery rooms in the Community Building or head up the steps to our Sanctuary for the main service. Need some help? Look for members of our welcome team (they’ll be wearing orange lanyards). They can take you where you need to go and answer any questions with a smile.
We have three identical services at 8am, 10am, and 12pm. Each service lasts approximately an hour and a half and contains songs, scripture readings, prayer, and teaching from a passage in the Bible. If you’d like to know more about what we do in our services, you can read about our Liturgy via the link below. Even if you’ve never been in a church service before, you can expect to feel welcome with us—we come from all different walks of life and enjoy the new faces we see every week.
We provide nursery and Sunday school environments for children pre- K and younger during our Sunday services. Elementary school students join us in the Sanctuary for singing and prayer, and then are dismissed during the sermon for Jr. Church in the Community Building. Middle and High School students are invited to join in the adult worship service.
